Teaching is a noble profession
Before
I interpret anything about this subject, first of all I like to write four
lines in Gujarati language about the duty of a teacher
“Mahek Bhini Yad Ne Me Notari Che,
Vadla varsad Ni
kankotri Che
Verg Maro Ne Badha Vidhyarthi Mare
Man Kashi Ne
Gangotri Che…………”
The
above four lines suggest that Teaching is a NOBLE DUTY, not a NOBLE PROFESSION, if Teacher is
faithful towards their duty no need to go at any temple or no need to go at any
holy places and yes it is also for the students that if they give their all
devotion to their duty as a student they don’t need to go to temple, Both
students and teachers are responsible to turn the duty teaching into a
profession but I like to give a one example that how teaching turns into a
profession.
Once in our
Semester – 1 clas,Barad sir was talking about the “Guru-Shishya prampara”,at that time he said that,
during that time students were lived with Guru and they went towards Guru at
any time to solve their difficuties,Gurus didn’t tell them that our class was
over so don’t disturb me in my personal time, while now a days Teachers don’t
give their contact numbers because they think that we don’t want to declare our
personal contact numbers, due to this type of belief of a teacher to not be
personal with students, so that now a time the duty of teaching turns into a profession.
